This is the web site suggested by nationally recognized consumer advocate, Clark Howard. He believes no one should have to pay for their credit report!
You must give some important information, like your social security number. But, the connection is encrypted and the site is highly trusted.

freecreditprofile.com offers a 30 day trial. You do have to give a c.c., but they only do a pending charge of $ 1 just to make sure your c.c. is active. You even get a credit score. Just cancel it when you print your report otherwise it’s $ 9 per month charge.
if you know the site is safe and they say it is free then just give them the info they want , they wont charge you., or go to esparian it is a credit collectors agency
